Salmon Arm-based Lime Design Hair Studio is owned by experienced hairstylists Emil Kleinfeller and Mara-Lee Kerslake, who have been in the industry for over 25 years.
About Emil
Emil Kleinfeller has the reputation for producing precision-crafted hairstyles. His down-to-earth approach and experience give him a unique and a passionate flair. Coming from three generations of hairdressers, it was natural that by age 16, Emil was apprenticing under two of Budapest’s elite stylists, where he got inspired and laid a strong foundation for his hair dressing career.
After winning the national junior championship during the last year of his education, Emil moved to Canada, where within 5 years, his dream came true and he opened his hair studio. His attention to precision and technical excellence has allowed his studio to continuously thrive. His cutting approach uses Sasson principles, creating timeless shapes and finding the best styles for his clients’ features, personality and lifestyle!
He believes in constant learning and education to keep stylists excited about their work and clients in love with their stylists. Emil strives to provide constant in-house education for his team on an ongoing basis, but most importantly, he believes in continuously growing and improving at what he's most passionate about—cutting hair.
About Mara-Lee
Mara-Lee’s career in the beauty industry started over 30 years ago. Being a West Coast talent and experienced stylist, she is the co-owner and Brand Manager of Lime Design Hair Studio and Lime Design Advanced Cutting Academy. With former knowledge in regional and corporate management as well as Director of Education and regional consultant for an international colour and hair care brand on the coast over the years. Mara-Lee has also worked styling behind the scenes of Fashion Week Vancouver for several years. Her passion has always been behind her styling chair. Creatively enhancing each guest’s personal style is her reward.
